Privacy Policy
Kaleido: Mirror Puzzle ("Kaleido", "the game") is made by CTL Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and the choices you have. Kaleido has no accounts: we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
1. Information stored on your device
Your game progress, coins, items, lives, settings, and a record of purchased items are saved only on your device. We don't receive this file. "Clear progress" in Settings resets your progress (coins, hammers, and purchases are kept), and uninstalling the game deletes everything.
2. Analytics (Google Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, for example which levels are too hard, and to fix problems. It collects:
- game events, such as starting or finishing a level, stars earned, using an item, opening the shop, watching a video ad, or a purchase attempt;
- an app instance ID that is random and unique to your installation of the game, and, where your choices allow, your device's advertising ID;
- device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, app version, and a country or region estimated from your IP address.
We also use Firebase Remote Config to adjust game settings (such as rewards) without an update. We have turned off Firebase's options to share analytics data with other Google products. User-level analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows a video ad only when you choose to watch one for a reward. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects your device's advertising ID, IP address, device information, and how you interact with ads, in order to show ads, measure them, and prevent fraud.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before ads are personalized, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Google → Ads).
4. Purchases (Google Play)
In-app purchases are optional and processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. We receive only what's needed to deliver what you bought: the product, an order number, and the purchase status.
5. Who receives your information
Only Google, as described above, acting as our service provider for analytics, ads, and payments. We don't sell your personal information. 6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you, or to object to its use. Because Kaleido doesn't know who you are, the simplest steps are: change your consent in Settings → Privacy options, reset your advertising ID, or uninstall the game. For any other request, email us and we'll help.
7. Children
Kaleido is meant for players aged 13 and over and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game and want their data removed, contact us.
8. Security
Information sent to Google's services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date above.
